Darts Practice Tips – Inner Singles Only

This Darts Tip will quickly improve your ability to focus on Triples!

When practicing on a standard English Clockface Bristle Dartboard, just ignore the large (outer) singles areas.  Count any hits in those areas as a complete miss, with no score.

Now only the Inner Singles will count, plus all of the other doubles, triples, & bulls.

This stops the temptation to take the easy shots, just lobbing a dart up into the large single. With the tougher requirement of hitting the much smaller inner singles, you will tighten your focus, and very likely find your triples hits increasing.

This is also an easy way to “handicap” a darts game, for two darters with widely different skill levels. The weaker player can use the whole board, but the stronger player must only use the small inner singles areas.

Good Darts!
